Buttons, fields, and controls

Control	Where	What it does	When to use it
Product header	Top of the page	Shows the product name, its key details (SKU, colorway, brand, type, release year), a photo you can click to enlarge, and status badges telling you whether it is set up and whether Shopify is in sync.	Glance at it to confirm you opened the right product and to see setup and sync status at a glance.
Product Information	Settings tab	Contains core product fields such as name, brand, category, product type, and internal notes.	Review it before saving so the product is searchable and categorized correctly.
Market snapshot	Slim strip near the top	Shows the current lowest StockX ask and GOAT ask for this product, and your “Position” — how many units you have on hand and roughly what they are worth if sold at today’s ask.	Use it as a quick reality check while setting prices. Note: Position is a market-value estimate at the current ask — it does not include what the pairs cost you, so it is not profit.
Click to edit size	Settings tab, size table	Lets you edit a size or variant row directly — its size label, price, barcode, and other details. A size’s condition (for example, “Damaged Box”) shows inline right on the size row; there is no separate condition section.	Use it when a size label, price, barcode, or condition is wrong.
Settings	Setup tabs	The main setup tab — holds Product Information, the size/price table, and the core selling settings.	This is where you spend most of your time setting a product up.
SEO	Setup tabs	Edits storefront search title, description, and URL fields.	Use it when the product needs cleaner customer-facing search or URL text.
Channels	Setup tabs	Controls where the product can be published or sold.	Use it before publishing to Shopify or other storefront channels.
Templates	Setup tabs	Controls listing, tag, and metafield templates applied to the product. You can generate recommendations or preview a template before applying it.	Use it when product output (descriptions, tags, Shopify metafields) should follow a saved template.
Images	Setup tabs	Opens product image management.	Use it to add, reorder, or verify customer-facing product images.
Sync Metafields	More actions menu	Pushes the product’s custom Shopify metadata fields (metafields) to Shopify. Metafields are no longer their own tab — they are handled through the Templates tab and this sync action.	Use it when a connected storefront template depends on product metafields and they need refreshing in Shopify.
Set up & ready	Header status badge	A green badge meaning this product has everything it needs (sizes, prices, images) to be listed and sold.	You do not click this badge — it turns green after you finish setup and save. The Save button reads “Set up this product” until then.
Not set up yet	Header status badge	A red badge meaning a few details are still missing, so the product stays out of ready-to-sell workflows.	It clears once sizes, prices, images, and required settings are correct and you save.
View Status	More actions menu	Shows setup and sync status details for the product.	Use it when a product is not publishing, syncing, or behaving as expected.
Sync to Shopify	More actions menu	Sends the product settings to Shopify.	Use it after setup is complete and Shopify should receive the latest product data.
Apply Preview	Templates tab	Applies the previewed generated content or settings to the product.	Use it after confirming the preview matches what should be saved.
More actions	Header (⋯ menu)	Opens less-common actions such as syncing to Shopify, viewing status, removing setup, switching product type, or deleting custom entities.	Use it carefully; many options affect product identity or selling readiness.
Delete Shopify product	Delete product options	Deletes the connected Shopify product rather than only disconnecting it.	Use it only when the Shopify product should be removed from the store entirely.
Keep Shopify product (disconnect only)	Delete product options	Disconnects AIM from the Shopify product while leaving the Shopify product in place.	Use it when Shopify should keep the product but AIM should stop managing it.

How to: Set up a new product

1. Check the product name and photo in the header are correct.
2. On the Settings tab, enter a price for each size. If you use multiple pricing tiers, fill in each one.
3. Set each size’s condition right on its row if it isn’t a standard new pair.
4. Choose “When sold out” — usually “Stop selling” so you don’t oversell.
5. Click “Set up this product” to save. The header badge changes to “Set up & ready”.

Jordan 4 Bred: on the Settings tab, set sizes 8–13 to a $360 retail tier, choose “Stop selling”, then click “Set up this product”.

How to: Update an already set-up product

1. Change any prices or settings that need updating.
2. Click “Save changes”.

Change the Dunk Low Panda size-10 retail price from $140 to$135 and its sold-out behavior to “Stop selling”, then click “Save changes”. Existing inventory stays in place; the updated settings are used going forward.

Good to know

• If a price is rejected on save, the error names the exact size and field to fix.
• The market snapshot near the top shows the lowest StockX and GOAT asks plus your Position (units on hand and their value at ask) — but Position never counts what the pairs cost you, so treat it as a market estimate, not profit.
• A size’s condition shows right on its row — there’s no separate condition section anymore.
• Greyed-out example text in a box is just a hint — it isn’t saved unless you type a value.
• Can’t find the product in the shared catalog? Create it as a custom product instead.
